Vintage Moschino “Cheap and Chic” Playing Cards Blazer
a vintage Moschino blazer from the label’s Cheap and Chic line, built around one of the house’s favorite devices: taking something deliberately ordinary and humorous and placing it into the language of traditional tailoring.
cut in black with a classic notched lapel and three-button front, the blazer is interrupted by four oversized playing-card appliqués across the front. each represents one of the four suits — diamond, heart, spade and club — rendered as cream rectangular panels with contrasting red and black symbols.
inside, the otherwise understated exterior gives way to a full black-and-cream striped lining, adding another layer of graphic contrast while retaining Moschino’s characteristically playful approach to formalwear.
