Chrome Hearts Heart Frame Pendant

a sculptural sterling silver pendant from Chrome Hearts built around a rectangular frame containing a raised, abstract heart motif. the design feels more dimensional than many of the house’s flatter pendants, with the central form sitting against a recessed, darkened background for added depth and contrast.

the pendant is finished with an ornate floral-patterned bail and a substantial connecting ring, giving the piece a heavy, handmade character throughout. the reverse is engraved with Chrome Hearts markings, “1998,” and “.925.”

one of the more unusual Chrome Hearts pendant constructions we come across. instead of relying on the familiar cross silhouette alone, this piece frames a raised heart form almost like a miniature piece of relief sculpture.

the contrast between the polished silver, dark recessed interior, and heavily worked bail gives it the kind of depth that photographs only partially capture. the dated 1998 reverse marking also gives the piece a distinctly older Chrome Hearts feel, from a period when much of the jewelry carried a noticeably hand-work
