Chrome Hearts Sterling Silver Cigarette Roller

an exceptionally unusual Chrome Hearts object from 2002, transforming a utilitarian 70mm hand-rolling machine into a piece of sterling silver hardware. the roller is housed within a substantial rectangular .925 silver frame, with sculptural BS Fleur motifs mounted at either end.

the frame is engraved with Chrome Hearts Hollywood U.S.A. branding and dated hallmarking, while the removable rolling mechanism retains its vintage-style printed sleeve. a particularly good example of Chrome Hearts applying the same obsessive silverwork normally reserved for jewelry to an otherwise ordinary everyday object.

use notes

designed as a functional 70mm hand roller while doubling as a collectible Chrome Hearts silver object.

due to its age and collectible nature, handle the rolling mechanism and sterling frame with care.

care

sterling silver will naturally oxidize and develop patina over time. polish gently with a dedicated silver cloth if desired.

avoid abrasive cleaners and excessive moisture, particularly around the rolling mechanism and printed components.

purchased at Chrome Hearts Miami in May 2021, this item has been unused. condition shows visible oxidation, patina, surface marks, and wear throughout the sterling silver consistent with age and display usage. please review all product images for the most accurate representation of condition.

this is the side of Chrome Hearts collecting that interests us most — the strange objects that were never necessary to make in sterling silver, but were made anyway.

dated 2002 and built around something as mundane as a 70mm cigarette roller, the piece feels almost absurdly over-engineered: a heavy silver chassis, oversized fleur hardware, engraved Hollywood branding, and a completely ordinary rolling mechanism sitting in the middle of it all.

more object than accessory, and exactly the kind of obscure Chrome Hearts ephemera that becomes increasingly difficult to find.
